Onze website is qua core systeem ietwat verouderd en daarom voeren we een migratie/update uit.We komen straks terug met een superstoere coole template en vele nieuwe features. Last days where very good, making sluf and wet snow avalanches and trying to ride them. My knee is ok long as I don’t jump. Tomorrow morning I leave by car to Norwegian for the competition. After that I will fly to Paris to visit friends   Ik heb er weer aan het snowboarden. Afgelopen dagen waren te gek, sluf en natsneeuwlawines maken en dan proberen deze te boarden. Last weekend my Steinbock colleges take part in the Filmfestival ‘Powder to the people’. This year there were really good teams taking part in the competition. The Steinbocks got the price for best riding, the film cutting was also very good but the story was not clear enough.   Éééindelijk heb ik weer eens tijd om achter mijn schermpje te gaan zitten.  Eigenlijk is “tijd “hebben niet helemaal de goede bewoording. Door een vervelende blessure en nekhernia was het schrijven lange tijd een no go… laat staan skiën.   Zo zegt men hier “Gesundheit ist nicht alles, aber ohne Gesundheit ist alles nichts! Eind maart, 17 graden en de sneeuw smelt langzaam onder mijn ski’s. Nog twee weken en dan is het seizoen in Serfaus Fiss Ladis weer voorbij. De winter is snel voorbij gegaan, zoals elke winter eigenlijk te snel voorbij gaat.  In december lijkt het einde zo ver weg, maar voor je het weet is het voorbij. The snow level starts at around 5300 meters so there is a lot of hiking required to reach the snow. Snowboarding is all happening on glaciers so there is a lot of dangers concerning crevasses not to forget the high altitude which makes the whole thing not easier.
